What is the focus of the NTIUACF?

THREE areas:

1.2. China - agriculture as a means of building communities of believers
1.3. China - investing in small businesses so that local Chinese believers have a means of sustaining themselves

2. INTERNAL: We must help the Brethren
2.1. Family - where we can reach out to the brethren better because of our past relationships in the CF
2.2. Career - jobs, career change, advice, mentoring
2.3. Human Capital - leverage on the marketplace skills & the ministry skills we have developed

3. CF: Support the campus ministry

Based on the marketplace background each member brings, the alumni offers a platform for all members to bring their talents and leadership to create a kinetics of change for Christ that was previously unchangeable, of motion that was previously unmovable, of acceleration of a cause that was otherwise stagnated, or left unfulfilled by the local churches. That impact would differentiate this gathering from just a networking concern.

What would this agenda be? It ought to be discerned based on the season, of the times that we are in. We can start from the bubble chart that FT drew, and pray over what is the compelling bubble(s) that God would want the alumni to fulfill for that season. There can be more than 1 bubble - but it has to create that kinetic for change, that would otherwise not been fulfilled effectively at the church level, and with the skill sets and talents that the members bring. For a start, China may be that one bubble. This may then graduate to a second bubble as the conviction comes in, with the talents and resources and prayer that go with it. In other words, it’s not country specific but focus centric, with a vision to impact changes.

Simply, our core focus should be to bring about the kinetic of change to impact an area otherwise not filled or effectively filled by the church.

Operationally, there are many ways to achieve that. An example, those who graduated may want to impact the to-be graduates with an agenda that we may not have identified yet. That can be a bubble for the younger alumni. As a way of moving forward, there can be 3 bubbles immediately, if we can handle all. The council or whatever structure in place, would be the moderator for that.
